Our team are trained in a number of models, and can adapt their intervention based on your needs.  Following an initial assessment, we will develop a collaborative formulation with you to identify what is underpinning your difficulties and what goals you have for treatment.

Jan Holland

Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP)
Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)

Jan is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 20 years’ mental health experience, working across specialist NHS services and private practice. She has extensive expertise in the assessment and treatment of complex and severe eating disorders.

She works collaboratively with patients to provide focused, effective, and evidence‑based CBT interventions tailored to individual needs and goals.

Jan specialises in supporting adults experiencing:

- Eating disorders and disordered eating
- Body image concerns
- Anxiety and low mood
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Neurodivergence

She has significant experience working with complex presentations, including comprehensive psychological and physical risk assessment, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams where appropriate.

Jan’s work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and informed by extensive additional specialist training, including:

  • CBT‑E and CBT‑T (for eating disorders)

  • Compassion‑Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Introduction to Schema Therapy

  • Adapted CBT for Neurodiversity

  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)

  • ADOS assessment and administration

Her approach is collaborative, structured, and compassionate, with a strong focus on helping patients develop understanding, practical coping strategies, and long‑term change.
